Born in the Fens, Ken Moore now lives and works in Carmarthenshire. His work reflects a lifelong love of the countryside and built heritage.

Ken has created an impressive portfolio featuring traditional images of countryside, heritage, wild flora and fauna as well as an expanding library of contemporary images displaying the moods of "sea, sand and rivers ". His contemporary photography is fast becoming a trademark of his work.

His traditional work includes stunning and unique studies of sunsets, landscapes and seascapes in West Wales. Some of his most evocative works are of the Towy Valley and it's castles, the Towy Estuary around Ferryside, St Ishmaels and Llanstephan and of Llaugharne, famous for the Dylan Thomas boathouse. Although much of his work is inspired by the magical West Wales scenery he also tracks down spectacular landscapes, skyscapes and remote settlements in the Fens, Shropshire, Devon and Yorkshire.

Ken spends endless hours striving to capture the mood and drama of countless subjects through his camera. You can share the beauty of these special moments in our landscape by entering the gallery ...
